The Meet Up

A legacy of warm hubs, we host a ‘Meet Up’ at Millbrook Village Hall every Friday.

Chalkboard sign advertising "Millbrook Meet Up" featuring drawings of a teapot, cup, and sandwich, with details about a weekly event on Fridays from 9:30 am to 12 pm. Text mentions tea, toast, chat, community support, cafe abundance shop, and craft activity.

We provide a welcoming atmosphere with free food, hot drinks and interactive art activities, and an opportunity to connect, meet new people and find support.

Our Local Support Worker is able to chat to people face to face and book appointments according to their needs.

We invite other specialist organisations, such as Citizens Advice, Community Energy Plus, South West Water, Man Down, the local police, Health Watch and more to attend - giving local residents the opportunity to get advice without having to travel.

Café Abundance provide their wonderful food and Awenek CIC provide regular art-based activities - the perfect combination for good chats!
