What happens with your donation?
Your donation enables us to invest in our community by running projects and services that help with issues such as food and energy insecurity, social isolation, wellbeing, access to services and support, providing educational and cultural events and workshops, providing access to outdoor education and wellbeing for children and their families. Our outcomes aim to empower and build grass roots resilience within our community, in what is an ever-changing and uncertain social landscape.
How do we acquire our funds to deliver our vital services?
We are a local organisation, set up and run by local people, for the local community. We run solely on donations, grant funding, and rental from our spaces. We could not do this without the helps and support of all those people out there who support us through donations, volunteering, ideas or with their knowledge and skills.
The grant landscape is changing and becoming more competitive, meaning that we need your help now more than ever! Your donation has a huge impact, it can be the difference between a family having enough to eat, to an older member of the community, facing social isolation, having a chance to gather with friends in a warm and safe environment, to an afternoon out in nature or a chance to attend an event as a community and share a few stories, ideas and laughs.
