Community food growing project
Determined to help provide access to healthy food, we have started a joint outdoor education and community garden project.
We are working with Permaculture Kernow and Millbrook Primary School, to deliver outdoor education and food growing for school students.
Our aim is to get the wider community involved in the community garden, located behind the school, so that we have a thriving community of growers producing free nutritious and organic home grown food for all that need it.
By getting out in the fresh air, meeting new people and learning how to care for the community garden, we will help our own well-being as well as our community and our local environment!
